This bold wine is a true reflection of a modern day Cabernet Sauvignon, showing typical cultivar characteristics with perfumed aromas of dark berries, cigar box, pepper and eucalyptus. It is well known that vines grown under dry land conditions produce red wines which are naturally rich and darker in color. Deep garnet with a purple core. Cassis, blackberry, capsicum, tomato-leaf and cigar-box on the nose. Palate is rich, powerful and layered. A great wine that will age for ages. Finesse. Elegance. Refined. Beautiful.

The grapes are harvested from vineyards with soils that are mainly decomposed granite and glenrosa. The vines are in natural balance, giving a low yield of 7 tons per hectare to enhance fruit complexity. Deep garnet with ruby rim. Red berries, chocolate and cassis on the nose. Palate is grippy, dry and lengthy. Drinks like a Bordeaux-blend with some spice from the Mourvèdre. Drink now or keep for a few more years
Mhudi Wines
The name M’hudi, derived from the Setswana word “Mohudi” when translated into English carries the meaning of a harvester. Not only this, but M’hudi shares the name with a heroine of a beautiful African story that chooses to flee from a war-ravaged and hopeless village in order to go out and search for a new beginning for herself, one in which the past is left behind and forgotten. Similarly, M’hudi Wines’ story is of a family that, with courage and great determination, went against all odds to pursue their dream of producing great wine. There are three separate ranges offered by M’hudi Wines, both consisting of several varietals. The is the “MHLJDI Boutique Family “premium range which consists of a Barrel Fermented Chenin Blanc.
